ATS Night Club in Prato Ruoteclassiche


Nuova iniziativa del club Ruoteclassiche di Prato. Sabato 29 novembre alle 17,30 presso la sede del club in Via Ferrucci 135 a Prato, serata dedicata alla marca italiana ATS (automobili sport turismo) che nacque per volontà del Conte Giovanni Volpi di Misurata (Scuderia Serenissima) e dell' ing. Giorgio Billi. Il progetto era molto ambizioso e prevedeva la produzione di vetture da corsa (prototipi e addirittura formula 1) e vetture di alte prestazioni da strada. Progettisti erano l'ing. Carlo Chiti e Giotto Bizzarrini, fuorisciti in modo polemico dalla Ferrari. Il progetto di una vettura di formula 1 prese corpo purtroppo senza successo, ma i piloti ingaggiati erano di tutto rispetto: Phil Hill e Giancarlo Baghetti. Questa è la poster of the event.
