E' mancato un risultato di prestigio vista la classifica degli avversari. Risultato (0-1) che probabilente si è spento sulla meravigliosa traversa da 25 metri su punizione del Capitano Di Meglio ma i ragazzi hanno fatto davvero una bellissima gara. A loro i complimenti dell'ambiente, del pubblico e del Presidente della Prima Squadra, Domenico Castagna.

L'aiuto innegabile e l'abnegazione che hanno messo in campo a disposizione dei compagni da parte di Giuseppe Romano e di Valerio Di Maio hanno dato alla squadra maggiore equilibrio, maggiore compattezza e maggiore tranquillità. Si tratta di elementi assolutamente validi innanzitutto da un punto di vista tecnico per la categoria ma anche disponibilissimi sotto l'aspetto umano: cosa che ha reso il loro inserimento assolutamente automatico e semplice. Molto molto bello. La disponibilità mostrata senza mai scadere in atteggiamenti di superiorità spesso visti in queste categorie ne esalta ulteriormente la prestazione.

Durante tutto l'incontro il risultato è sempre stato in bilico e gli ospiti hanno potuto tirare un vero e proprio sospiro di sollievo solo alf ischio finale dell'arbitro.

Notevoli i passi avanti come approccio alla gara e come reazione alle difficoltà. Buonissima la prova di ragazzi che fino ad oggi erano parsi più abulici, come Arcangelo Desiano ma eccellente la prova in un ruolo non suo di Michele Calise, così come ha inciso quanto sperato sia Perillo che Apetino per i quali c'è solo da augurarsi un maggiore impegno negli allenamenti per vederli essere premiati non solo da una convocazione e una panchina ma magari anche con una presenza in prima squadra.
